EMDR
Eye-Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing
You thought knowing the root would make the patterns stop. But your body still acts like it's happening right now.

That gap between knowing and reacting is the clue. An earlier experience never finished processing, so when something similar shows up, the original fear, urgency, or pain is still attached to it. Your brain keeps replaying it as current information, instead of something from the past.

EMDR is structured to help your brain finally complete that process.

How EMDR Helps You Move Forward
EMDR doesn't ask you to relive what happened or talk it through over and over. Using guided eye movements, we help both sides of your brain reprocess what's stuck — so the memory stays, but the fear attached to it doesn't have to. Once that happens, the trigger stops being a trigger. A look, a tone, a moment that used to send you right back — it simply becomes a moment again.
